Good Run For Wigan in the Carling Cup this Year

Good Run For Wigan in the Carling Cup this Year

The draw for the second round of the Carling Cup has seen Wigan Athletic given a home tie against League two side Notts County

This could be a good year for the Latics in one of the Cups and what better way to start a campaign than a home tie against lower league opposition.

No disrespect whatsoever to Notts County, who I am sure are a good side, but we are a top division side and they are a bottom division side, there should be no contest.

A home tie is whats needed to aid in progress in any competition , the year we got to the final we had home ties in every round, come on Brucie lets go for this we can get to Wembley and have a wonderful day out in miserable February.

Ties to be played week beginning 25th August
