Zaki Aims to Be Number 1 in the Premier League

Amr Zaki, Wigan Athletics new loan signing from Egyptian club Zamalek has told of his ambition to become the top striker in the Premier League

The 25 year old hot shot joined the Latics following a very protracted and public transfer and now as the season is about to start Zaki wants to repay boss Steve Bruce for his perseverance

Zaki said:

"I wanted to prove myself abroad and the Premier League is where most of the stars of the national teams play"

"Now I am here I just want to score goals for Wigan, I have come here with a big reputation, but I won`t say how many goals I will score, that is not my way."

"It may take some time to become the number 1 striker in the Premier League, but that is what I want to be"
