Andy Webster Leaves Rangers

Former Wigan Athletic defender Andy Webster has signed for Championship club Bristol City in a loan deal that will see him stay at Ashton Gate until January 18th 2009.

Webster signed for the Latics in 2006 following a complicated move from SPL club Hearts whereby the player had to pay a release from his contract in effect his own transfer fee.

Webster stayed at the JJB for just 6 months before moving back to Scotland to join Rangers, initially on loan before completing a permanent transfer from the JJB to Ibrox this summer for an undisclosed fee.
