Wigan Athletic- Whelan to Watch Chu-young Park

Latics Chairman Dave Whelan is expected to head out to Korea this weekend according to Setanta Sports in order to cast his eye over Korean forward Chu-young Park

With Marlon King loaned out to Hull City for the season the Latics need a replacement to be brought in to act as cover for Emile Heskey and Amr Zaki and it is believed that Park is a player that boss Steve Bruce likes the look of.

Park has netted 13 times in 26 internationals and 43 goals in 86 league games for current club FC Seoul with the word in Korea that the Latics are very interested in the 23 year old sensation we will monitor this story for further developments
