Park Chu-Young Set to Become a Latic

Vital Wigan believe that South Korean international Park Chu-Young will join Wigan Athletic, initially on loan before the end of this week.

The 23 year old forward is the sensation of the K-League and plays for FC Seoul where he has scored 43 goals in 89 appearances.

Park Chu-Young has also scored 21 times in only 30 games for his national team, a phenomenal record that alerted Steve Bruce

With Latics general manager John Benson and Chief Executive Officer Brenda Spencer over in Seoul to tie up the deal there should be a Korean take-away on the JJB menu very soon.

Meanwhile Dave Whelans none attendance at yesterdays game with Chelsea might have something to do with the fact that his grandson was celebrating his 21st Birthday yesterday in the sunny resort of St.Tropez, Hmm St.Tropez beach or St.Eddies Catholic club?

Wow your scouts have a real ability to find these players that most of us have never heard of! 21 goals in 30 is outstanding. A new terrace hero if he can replicate his scoring form at the JJB...
