Camara or Heskey to Partner Zaki?

Camara or Heskey to Partner Zaki?

Following the performance and goals of Wigan Athletic striker Henri Camara in last nights game against Notts County, Latics boss Steve Bruce has been left with a quandary regarding Saturdays game at Hull.

Who does he start with up front?

Zaki is a must, he has power, pace, skill and with two goals already this season he is showing he has a knack to score, so who starts with him?

We all know that Heskey isn`t a prolific goal scorer but he brings much more to the team, he is strong and holds the ball up well and he is a quality player.

On the other hand there is the temperamental Henri Camara who is lightening quick and without doubt can score goals but in the past he didn`t always seem committed.

Last night though Camara looked hungry, like he had a point to prove, he was sharp and really 'up for it`. My guess is that Bruce will revert to the Heskey-Zaki partnership for the trip to the KC Stadium but do you agree?

On the right side of this page is a poll asking who would be your preferred partner for Zaki make your choice and we`ll see if we agree or disagree with Brucie over this one

I'd go with Heskey and Zaki though I would be tempted by Camara but I think he needs to show a bit more yet

Heskey is more experience than Camara but he is too slow and has less performance ... i think that wigan needs a powerful striker like zaki

we might end up seeing a zaki - mido if mido's deal goes through, that would be better

Latics v Nottingham Forest - Big Game Preview

You can dress it up as you like, but for the Latics this is a game that they just have to win, we start a run of fixtures that would surely have been earmarked as ones to gain maximum points from and get us up the Championship table.

Forest arrive at the DW Stadium just six points ahead of us in the standings, they have injury problems, particularly in defence, they are on a poor run of form having lost their last three games, conceding 10 goals along the way, this is a time when we simpl
