Wigan Athletic - Mido Coming In?

Wigan Athletic are expected to announce the year long loan signing of Middlesbrough and Egypt forward Mido within the next 24 hours.

Reports coming out of Egypt suggest that Mido has fallen out with Boro boss Gareth Southgate and Latics boss Steve Bruce is offering the former Spurs man the chance to link up with fellow compatriot Amr Zaki and spearhead the JJB forward line.

Bruce is a long term admirer of Mido and tried to sign him for Birmingham last July

Good point what happens to wigan the next time an ANC comes up if they have three Africans up front. Anyway, Mido and Zaki understand one another and will form a very effective partnership. I think Wigan should also look at ghaly, shikabla and gamal hamza as all excellent players that can play at Zaki level. dad2david, balsish kida!!!
