Wigan Athletic - Whos the Best Striker in the Prem

Vital Wigan regular Fly Eagles Fly queried who is the best striker in the Premier League and his question was met with an exquisite response by another forum regular Rabeem, take a look at what he said:

In my opinion, there is a whole host to choose from.

In terms of goals per game we could be looking at the likes of Liverpools Torres, Arsenals Adebayor and Santa Cruz of Blackburn but as of course, to be a superior striker you need more than goals.

Having said that, Berbatov is consistent with his assists and I am sure he will do well at Manchester United but I suppose it depends on how you define 'best'. I mean, we are talking the number of goals, assists, whether it's a good buy etc.

To be truthful and unbiased, I will have to say at this moment that Latics summer signing Amr Zaki is the best acquisition. We didn't splash £30 million on him so it wasn't a Robinho fee, we instead agonised about the whole Zamalek scenario but it paid off in the end.

He has been scoring consistently for us so far and is maintaining his goals ratio in Egypt. Now I believe it when I read that FIFA rank him world's number 1 striker.

We could have so easily told Zamalek to drop the whole situation as they clearly didn't want to sell him at the time, but now we have him and it goes to show that good things do in fact come to those who wait

Thanks for the suggestion FEF and the reply Rabeem and I agree Zaki is the best striker in the Prem
