An opening day 0:1 win at Bury has been followed up by a 2:1 victory over Shrewsbury Town youth with goals from Steven Chiocchi and captain Jordan Mustoe ensuring the points.

Postlethwaite; Chiocchi, Mustoe, Buxton, Langley, Breeze, Crane, Kirkbride, Barrie, Amos (Marsden), Lambert.

Subs not used: Prince, Williams, Mayer.
