Figueroa Excellent in Honduras Win

Wigan Athletic defender Maynor Figueroa was excellent as Honduras beat Jamaica 2-0 in San Pedro Sula in the Concacaf group b world cup 2010 qualifier

This victory give Honduras 6 points and consolidates 2nd spot in the group behind Mexico, following his two goals against Canada Ramon Nuñez opened the scoring in the second half and Amado Guevara added the second

Maynor Figueroa was excellent in defence but Latics other Honduras star Wilson Palacios had a slightly off day, next up for Honduras is a home game against Canada on the 11th October
