It`s Whoops for Scharner`s Austria
Paul Scharner was substituted in the 66th minute last night as Austria hit a brick wall known as Lithuania in their World Cup 2010 qualifier.
Following the Austrians 3-1 win against France on Saturday expectations were high that they could make it 6 points from two games against group 3 underdogs Lithuania.
The Lithuanians proved that their 3-0 win in Romania was no fluke by thumping the Austrians 2-0 with a classy display and now sit proudly at the top of their qualifying group.
