Wigan Athletic - Warriors Should Go

The majority of Wigan Athletic fans voting on the last poll on Vital Wigan want the Wigan Warriors to leave the JJB and find a place of their own.

The discussion of the Egg Men moving came about due to a fixture clash this weekend, the result of which saw the Warriors play their game with Bradford Bulls down the road in Widnes, a clear indication of who the tenant are and who the landlords are at Robin Park.

There is a lot of animosity between supporters of the Blobbies and supporters of the Latics and this goes back many years and ground sharing, in my opinion, was always a very bad idea.

For the record the voting went

Should the Warriors find a new home?

Yes - 81%
No - 19%

The new poll has been suggested by Vital Latics regular bulldozer and he wants to know do we think this year could see us reach the final of the Carling Cup once more, Zaki and Steve Bruce have both stated that a Cup win is a priority for the club this season, so:

Can you see a Carling Cup Final for the Latics?

It isn't going to happen. They have a 50 year lease and will only move if they choose to which would require them building another ground which isn't going to happen due to funding.
