'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Whelan - Zaki is Sensational

Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan is drooling over summer signing Amr Zaki who has started his Latics career off in sensational form by scoring five goals in five games

Whelan reckons he can see the same qualities in Zaki that he also saw in Englands last great centre forward Alan Shearer, Whelan told reporters:

'Zaki has been sensational already'

'He does remind me of Shearer. He's a natural striker too who is so hungry and so determined.'

Whelan says Zaki is sensational

Dave Whelan is correct when he says Zaki is determined to succeed and he is certainly looking like a good role model for all the young ones aspiring to become professional footballers and at the moment he is ours
