Arsenal away in the Carling Cup

Wigan Athletic's reward for beating Ipswich away in the Carling Cup third round is a fourth round trip.

Arsenal away was of course the scene of our memorable triumph when an injury time goal by Jason Roberts secured our place in the Carling Cup final.

This game was of course played at Highbury prior to the Gunners moving to their superb new stadium.

Arsene Wenger has placed his faith in youth up until now in the cup and they have responded magnificently, however with Steve Bruce certain to field a strong team( we haven't anyone else!) it would come as no surprise if Arsene responded in kind.

The ties will be played on either the Tuesday or Wednesday the 11th or 12th November

The full draw is;

Arsenal v Wigan Athletic
Brighton & Hove Albion or Derby v Leeds United
Chelsea v Burnley
Manchester United v Queens Park Rangers
Stoke City v Rotherham United
Sunderland v Blackburn Rovers
Swansea City v Watford
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool
