'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hyundai Eye the Latics

It is understood by Vital Wigan that representatives from Korean car giants Hyundai where at the JJB today for the game between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City as guests of Latics chairman Dave Whelan.

It is no secret that the Latics are looking for major investors as the club looks to make a mark on the Premier League and there was a trip to Korea last month by the clubs General Manager and Chief Executive Officer to 'tap up` potential buyers.

Chairman Dave Whelan is believed to be willing to sell the club and with the Stadium and shirt sponsorship deals up this year this is an ideal time to court suitors for the club

Hyundai are a massive concern on the world market and Whelan could see them as the perfect people to step in when he hangs his cheque book up at the end of the season
