'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Amr Zaki`s Magnificent Reaction

Following todays game at the JJB Wigan Athletic forward Amr Zaki did a one man lap of honour has he showed his appreciation to the Latics fans who have made him welcome at his new home.

Zaki had a fantastic game and scored from the penalty spot to keep his goal scoring run going, that`s now 6 for the season for the Egyptian target man.

After the final whistle the Latics and City players left the field of play but Zaki stayed applauding the fans, first of all he ran over to the East stand and kissed the Latics badge to the delight of the home supporters

He raised his hands above his head and gave them a wonderful applause; he then ran to the South stand and did the same before repeating for the fans in the West Stand.

A fantastic player, a Latics legend and in the hearts of the Latics faithful after just 8 games, what a player, Amr Zaki

The legend that is Zaki

Bruce has unearthed a gem in this fella! What a handful he was for us. Dont think I've ever seen Dunney get rattled before, but he certainly was yesterday!

Amr Zaki is a full-on exciting striker and he'll do very well for Wigan this year. As a City fan I have to say he was Man of the Match on Sunday. But I don't think he needs to do the Drogba-esque play acting as well. He'll get himself a name for that very quickly.
