This IS the Best Wigan Athletic Side Ever

The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan have decided that the current Latics team is the best ever team to have played in the famous blue and white.

An astonishing 91% of voters opted to declare that they believe Heskey, Melchiot, Zaki and co are the most talented crop of players we have had at the club.

Most pundits appear to agree and with the usual BBC football analysers Lee Dixon, Alan Hansen etc predicting a good season for the Latics we are getting some attention.

One pundit, former Aston Villa and Millwall player Tony Cascarino, stuck his neck out and said that, injuries permitting, Latics could actually challenge for a top 4 spot.

That would be some season

The latest poll, which is on the right side of this page, is asking who do you think will come out on top in Saturdays game at the JJB between Latics and Middlesbrough, with this being our best ever side there can be only one answer.

Vital Latics - The best ever

In this post-fact world, it is difficult to know who you can trust.
