The Dave Whelan Stand - Make it Happen

Voters on the latest poll on vital Wigan decided that a stand at the JJB should be re-named the Whelan Stand in honour of Latics chairman and benefactor Dave Whelan.

A massive 93% of those taking part said that they wanted this to happen and Vital Latics will be emailing the club with the results of the poll and awaiting a reply to see if there is any chance of this happening.

Dave Whelan - could have a stand in his name

Meanwhile at Vital Latics we are running a new poll - 'Are you happy with the start?` - following the first two months of action is the club moving in the right direction on the pitch or are we going to be fighting for survival once again

The poll is available on the right side of this page
