'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Class of 2007-2008

Julius Agahahowa... Julius has found his scoring boots again (I think he had left them in Donetsk), scoring four goals in six appearences for a Kayserispor team who has scored a total of eight goals.

Andreas Granqvist... has scored a contender for goal of the season whilst playing for Eredivisie leaders Groningen being compared to Maradona!!!.Andreas is also in the Swedish squad for tonights World Cup qualifier against Portugal.

Josip Skoko...went home when he left Latics re-signing for Hadkjuk Split. Can't find any records of any appearences this season.

Erik Hagen has also returned home signing for Valarenga in Norway where he previously spent four successful years. Not a regular first teamer this season however.

Salomen Olembe followed Julius Aghahowa to Kayserispor but hasn't made a first team appearence yet..

Marcus Bent... last season's top goal scorer wasn't offered a permenant contract or wanted too much depending on what article you read. Marcus almost signed for Cardiff before signing on with Birmingham City.He has made seven appearences this season but has yet to score.

Denny Landzaat...Left Latics midway through last season to sign for the Rotterdam giants Feyenoord. Has featured eleven times for 'the people's club' scoring twice. He was dropped from the provisional Dutch Euro2008 squad and hasn't featured since.
