New Deal For Roberts
Wigan Athletic are about to offer striker Jason Roberts an extended deal to keep him at the club beyond the end of his current contract which expires in 2007.
Roberts has been linked with a number of clubs this season including Everton and Manchester City, but according to 'The People' Latics boss Paul Jewell is confident of signing him up on a new deal.

Roberts has been great for Wigan this season, I honestly think that premiership clubs will come calling in the summer. Whether Wigan will sell or not is another matter!!
