A World of Choices for Zaki

Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki apparently will have a world full of choices when it comes to the end of the season with a host of clubs from all over the globe chasing the signature of the red hot striker.

Latics boss Steve Bruce is hoping that he can tie his man down and get him off his loan deal and onto a permanent contract long before then, but the problem for Bruce might not be Zaki but his club back in Egypt Zamalek.

Zamalek are probably looking at the situation and seeing the interest in the front man could well be hoping for a bidding war come the end of the season, ultimately Zaki himself will decide where he wants to go or indeed stay but now the big clubs are entering the stage the bright lights could be very tempting for him.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been muted to be interested from the EPL and now they have been joined by Spanish giants Real Madrid who according to reports want to be kept 'informed` of the situation regarding the Worlds hottest property.

This situation of reported interest and Zaki`s amazing start to his Wigan Athletic career have already sky rocketed his transfer value, Latics have started negotiations and now its up to Zamalek, do they want to wait till the end of the season and risk a dip in form or an injury and see his value cut or do they strike now whilst the iron is hot and get the best deal possible out of the Latics.

Zamalek could deal now and put a sell on clause in the contract, that would be good news for the Latics, it would keep Zaki in the shop window and guarantee Zamalek a future financial bonus if and when he moved on from Wigan

Too much interest in Zaki, we should have kept quiet about him;)

cats out the bag now! lol Zamalek wanted 7million for him? I guess next summer he will be going for a lot more.

If all this interest is true it shows how far we have come. But also bad news. He might go somewhere where he might not want to go
Jonni_G
Or he could go back to Zamalek and play with Junior Agogo...
