Koumas Fired Up For Fulham

Wigan Athletic player Jason Koumas is fired up for a big week ahead as the Latics try to get their season back on track and admits that Steve Bruces men need something from the game against Fulham, he told reporters:

'It's a big game on Wednesday for us, a game we've definitely got to get something out of.

'We're playing well but we're not winning.

'Whereas last year we were hard to beat, at the moment we're leaking goals, and we need to put it right.'

'It was a bad result for us and we're going through a sticky patch at the minute. We definitely need something from somewhere.

'The gaffer was right though, we need to get back to what we were doing last year.

'When we were in trouble then we were hard to beat. At the moment we're leaking goals and we can't do that.'

Looking back to Sunday the Wales international reckons the penalty was the turning point of the game but after that it was all down hill, Koumas continued:

'We knew Villa were going to be dangerous, and we coped well up until the penalty.'

'But the three goals afterwards were mistakes, bad goals defensively.

'It's something we'll work on this week going into two big games. It's a big week for us.'

Lets hope that we do get something from the next two games
