Bramble - There`s Always a Game Around the Corner

Wigan Athletic defender Titus Bramble was philosophical when looking back on Sundays defeat to Aston Villa, he feels that the team are playing well but not getting the results, a sentiment echoed by many but Bramble says that`s a worry, he told reporters:

'We're playing well but not getting the results, so there is a concern there.

'We've created chances so I guess you can take positives from that, but we've conceded and defended badly.'

Defended badly is an understatement from Sunday`s game but having said that Bramble had a chance to redeem himself when he met a Daniel DeRidder corner with a thunderous header only to see Brad Friedel pull off a fantastic save, he said:

'If it goes in then it's a different game because I think we were on top. But we didn't take the chances we did have and got punished for it.'

Thinking about the next few weeks Bramble says that the Latics need to get points on the table and stop listening to the plaudits about how good we are and he uses Spurs has an example:

'You look at Tottenham and they've got good players, but are sitting bottom of the league. So no team is too good to go down and we've got to start getting points on the board soon.

'But that's the good thing about football, there's always a game just around the corner.

'We've just got to make sure we bounce back against Fulham and get all three points.'

Yep Titus lets make sure we get those points

No need to panic just yet but if we get nothing from Wednesday and Saturday the there will be

And that'll make Stoke a huge game and I think that's where the next points will come from personally.

I feel sorry Bramble. He was made to look an idiot (again) because he failed to time a tackle correctly on one of the quickest players in the premier league and then he was denied a goal by a great keeper on great form! Not a good thing to happen to happen to a confidence player!
