Montrose Stays For Another Month


Young Wigan Athletic defender Lewis Montrose is to stay at League One club Cheltenham Town for at least one more month after having his loan period extended following agreement between Robins boss Martin Allen and Latics boss Steve Bruce

Montrose has made just two league appearances for Cheltenham so far but he is looking to gain more first team experience he said:

'I am hoping to be in contention for the first team, and to gain some vital experience'.

'Martin Allen is a good manager and I'm hoping I can get some playing time under my belt.'
