Half Time Fulham 1-0 Wigan Athletic

Fulham lead the Latics 1-0 at the break with an Andy Johnson goal on 10 minutes, Johnson so far off-side he was almost stood with the fans behind the goal.

That was the only real Fulham chance of a half that saw Latics grow stronger as it went on and they should have equalised when Amr Zaki broke down the left and sent in a cross that found Paul Scharner unmarked 1 yard out and amazingly he headed wide of an open goal

So Steve Bruce needs to keep his side fired-up if they are to come back and not suffer the indignity of 4 straight defeats, the second half can`t come quick enough for the Latics has they attempt to get back in the game

This just gets grim... one wonders when the break will come. Come on Latics, a point would be good. Please, please, PLEASE!!! No big worries yet but we need something soon and our next home game is the perfect opportunity. Disappointing last month or so but we'll be OK in the long term, I think. Poor, poor start.
