Latics in Bosnia Link

Wigan Athletic are being linked to Bosnia international Emir Spahic who currently plays for Lokomotiv Moscow, the central defender has 25 caps for Bosnia and has scored 2 goals

The 28 yeard old signed for Lokomotiv in 2006 and has made 46 appearances for the club, Spahic is the current Bosnia captain

True or speculation Latics certainly need defensive cover or on current form new defenders

Good player, not exceptional but very solid. Hard worker too. Seems like he's been in Loko forever, can't imagine them without him.

I agree, the defence needs a complete overhaul... We are AWFUL at the moment.

Greate powerful and agressiv deffender. can play all 4 spots in back line. captain of Bosnian national team, leaves his heart on pitch every game. best Bosnian defender in past 5-6 years. think he will fit nicely in premiership. worth more then 1½£ he costs.

I'm pretty sure he'd fit well. He's no stranger to physical game, and that's the cornerstone to success in England.
