Latics on a Secret Mission to Get the Points

In a bid to get his players fired up Steve Bruce arranged for his squad to have a private viewing of the new Bond movie Quantum of Solace last night and he hopes that it will give his side a licence to kill-off a Pompey side looking for their first win under new boss Tony Adams or should I say Dr No-No

Today could be a plot from a Bond movie with Latics Chief Executive Brenda Spencer the clubs answer to Miss Moneypenny and of course Dave Whelan would be M and with a team of special agents from all over the world the Latics are on a mission snatch three points from under the nose of the arch enemy at Fratton Park, which actually sounds like a military base.

With sharp shooter Amr Zaki Latics have every chance to be lethal and 006 Commander Bruce will have the tactics right to beat an old Gunner like Adams into submission.

I think Wigan are more Johnny English than James Bond.
