Some idiot journalist from the Daily Mail going by the name of Mark Lawford wrote, allegedly, an article on the famous fans of the 20 clubs in the Premier League

For 19 clubs he wrote the name of at least one celebrity or famous fan, though in truth it appears as though it was part of a Primary School project there was so little research done, but for little old Latics the idiot did what journalists were doing five years ago and tried to belittle our club

The Daily Mail recently has been quite scathing of the Latics, the so called Hatchet Man articles, which I suspect are written by Lawford due to their utter diarrhoea for content, and an article about the Latics and the town of Wigan that featured in the Mails Sunday supplement last year read like it had been written in 1907 not 2007.
