King deal to be made permenant?

Marlon King is reported to be close to receiving his wish of a permenent deal at Hull City for around 3 million pounds.

This follows reports that Steve Bruce is stating that he wouldn't stand in Marlon's way and that the ball was in Hull's court to make a bid.

Marlon signed for Wigan in January 2008, after a proposed deal to Fulham fell through, with rumoured concerns about his knee following a protracted spell on the sidelines.

Marlon appeared to struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League, scoring only one goal, that a penalty in the 3-1 defeat away at Blackburn.

So far he has scored three goals for the Tigers, including a double at Newcastle and appears to be enjoying his football on Humberside.

Whilst it was evident he wasn't what we needed here at WIgan , Marlon is a seriously nice guy and if the move to Hull does become permenant, all at Vital Wigan wish him the best for the future.
