Zaki Out, Sibierski In

Wigan Athletic and Egypt goal scoring sensation Amr Zaki is set to miss tomorrows game against Newcastle United at St. James` Park but Antoine Sibierski could make a surprise return.

Zaki hasn`t travelled with the Latics squad up to the North East and neither as Emile Heskey but there is a return to the fold for former Newcastle striker Sibierski who has been out on loan at Norwich City for the past few weeks

With both Latics strikers out injured and only Henri Camara in reserve it isn`t surprising that boss Steve Bruce has recalled Sibierski and the Frenchman could well be in line for his first Premier League start of the season

Latics v Brentford - Big Game Preview

Latics go into the game against Brentford hoping to build on the win away at Burton last Saturday, another three points this afternoon could see us lifted out of the bottom three come 5pm, what a change around that would be from the despair that we were all feeling as we came in to the new year.

The truth of the matter is that the team is too good to be stuck where it is in the league, we have enough quality in the ranks to be higher up the table, hopefully the last two games have shown t
