Wigan Athletic - Mido Transfer Back On

Middlesbrough and Egypt forward Mido`s proposed summer move to the Latics appears to be back on according to several news outlets with the player himself very keen on the switch.

The deal in August fell through because Boro boss Gareth Southgate was unwilling to let Mido go, he was concerned about a series of injuries to his forwards and needed the former Spurs man to lead the line

With Boro now doing well and Mido not getting regular starts it might be time for something to happen and it is well known that the player himself wants the move, he has seen how well his compatriot Amr Zaki has done since signing on at the JJB and its believed he wouldn`t be adverse to a loan move, a source close to Mido said:

"He is trying to engineer a move to Wigan and could also go there on loan. He wants to look after himself."

If Bruce wants to buy Mido it will cost the club around £6 million, ironically the same amount that it would cost any potential Heskey buyers, so it looks like there may well be a continuation of the one in one out policy

He's a good player Mido, would welcome him with open arms. Mido and Zaki proposes a frightful setup. Wouldn't it be great to have Benitez and Mido. Now that's firepower!

He said he is not going anywhere . and i think nothing changed

total rubbish...mido is staying at boro...he can never go anywhere now coz he's getting some weird injuries every couple of weeks...so no buyers will step in until he's back on track and playing consistently, which never happened since season 05/06 when he was at spurs!!!!!
