Wigan Athletic - Taylor set for Start

Wigan Athletic defender Ryan Taylor looks likely to start against Everton on Monday night though he will probably be at right back rather than the left side of midfield as he was at Newcastle last week.

Taylor made his first start of the season and scored a cracker after just 3 minutes when he latched on to a flick from Olivier Kapo after good work by Maynor Figueroa up the Latics left.

The versatile player will slot in to the right back spot left vacant by the suspension of Emerson Boyce following his ludicrous sending off and with Mario Melchiot missing for the foreseeable future with an alleged "knee injury" Taylor just might get an extended run in the side

We could well need Taylor if the Melchiot rumours are true
