Wigan Athletic - One in One out to Continue

The policy of one in one out for Wigan Athletic appears to be continuing with chairman Dave Whelan declaring that there will be no players coming into the club unless there are players moving out first.

Latics have the smallest squad in the Premier League and are desperately short on experienced players but this doesn`t seem to concern Whelan who likes to run a tight ship much the way he ran his business empire over the years 'wasting nowt`, Whelan told reporters:

"If he (Bruce) wants to buy somebody, he`ll have to move somebody out because we have a limit and a salary cap to keep to, so we`ll see what he wants to do."

Looks like we can forget building a squad then

Surely we need to bring in at least 3 more experienced players

What we have to remember is Mr Whelan funds the club out of his own pocket and has taken us from the bottom tier of professional football to the top. He is a businessman first and foremost and who can blame him for wanting to secure a fiscal approach to the team. If we want to spend mega big then we need to buy championship manager for the PC
