Bruce makes contact with King

Marlon King is currently on a season long loan at Hull City where he has become a popular figure with the fans scoring four goals so far in Hull's wonderful start to their first ever season in the Premeir League.

It is widely expected that King would be allowed to make his move permenant in the January transfer window but Bruce with an eye on Heskey's impending move away from the JJB, has belived to have contacted Marlon to see if he would be amenable to return to the Latics, where he scored one goal in half a season.

I hope he will stay at Hull... He doesn't have the qualtiy we need if Heskey leaves..

If Sibs, Camera and Heskey go then I think we will need to bring him back. Prefer not to but if we are light on strikers then I prefer us to call him back than risk not having a striker avaliable
