Vital Latics - We Are Back

Following some much needed maintenance and tweaking of the systems Vital Latics is back after a three day absence, have you missed us, dead right you have so lets get the news machine rolling again.

Amr Zaki returned to action yesterday and to say we have missed the Egypt international striker is a bit of an understatement, he was introduced on 66 minutes and sparked the Latics into almost snatching a draw at the Emirates but unfortunately it wasn`t to be.

Brenda Spencer and John Benson have jetted off to Mexico, no not for a secret love-in, though there has been rumours, they have gone to finalise the deals to bring Ecuador centre forward Chucho Benitez, the guy with the broken leg and Hugo Rodallega Martinez the Columbian hot-shot, to the JJB in January.

Vital match reporter baskerville attended the fans forum on Thursday and he will be bringing a low down on the evening and boy does he have lots of gossip

Anyways we are back and we will be bringing you lots of articles so stay tuned folks!

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
