Wigan Athletic - Kilbane Ready for Blackburn

Wigan Athletic left sided player Kevin Kilbane says that the squad is ready for the run of games leading up to and through the festive season starting with the visit of Blackburn Rovers to the JJB next Saturday

Latics lie 11th in the Premier League at the moment but have a chance to cement their place in the top half with four very winnable games coming up against Blackburn, Newcastle, Bolton and Spurs, Kilbane told the clubs official site:

'Everyone's got to be ready and willing to do a job if called upon.

'We'll be disappointed if we don't take something from the upcoming games.

'It's a big game next week against Blackburn who are going through a bad patch at the moment. But we don't want to be the team they turn it around against.

'They've got some quality players in their squad so it's going to be a big game, and one we're certainly hoping to get three points from.'
