Bruce Wants a Blackburn Repeat

Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce spoke to the press in the build up to Saturdays game against Blackburn Rovers at the JJB and reflected back to last seasons encounter which gave Bruce his first win as Latics manager, he told the press:

'It was a tremendous game, and the match that turned Wigan's season'

'The game had everything, a fabulous contest. We led 3-0, then Blackburn clawed their way back to 3-3 before we took the game away from them.

'A repeat performance would be nice, and I think it was the first time that Wigan had beaten Blackburn in the Premier League.

'But Blackburn will prove very tough opposition, though, and we know what to expect from them because they are up against it.

'They will come out fighting that's for sure, and they'll see it is a game when they can get back on track.

'But there is a great belief building in our squad and I'm quietly confident that we'll be okay. Make no mistake, Saturday's a huge game for Wigan, and if we can win then that would give us a nine-point cushion over Blackburn, a huge boost as we approach the Christmas programme.'

Im not too bothered about the performance here just a win and the three points

Blackburn fan here. I can see you winning tomorrow. We'll play nice, pretty football, but our defence, at present, is prone to costly errors, and our attack is prone to not scoring. 2-0 Wigan, is how I see it...

I hope you are right, I think you need to get rid of Ince and bring in an experienced Prem manager or you will be in trouble and I dont want to see the Rovers go down, I like my trips to Ewood too much for that
