F.A. to prolong the agony for Bruce !

F.A. to prolong the agony for Bruce !

The F.A. have decided to extend the transfer deadline from midnight on the 31st of January until 5pm on the 2nd of February.

The reasoning behind this is that the 31st is a Saturday and in order to fall in line with Europaen countries they have decided to extend the deadline.

This isn't the first time this has happened, indeed in August of this year the deadline ended at midnight on September 1st, as the 31st of August was a Sunday.

All this does is prolong the agony for Steve Bruce, who has publically proclaimed his dislike for the transfer window

Gary Caldwell felt that his team were unlucky not to win the game at Preston on Friday never mind lose it, a wickedly deflected effort early on followed by some resolute defending kept the Latics at bay, but a failure to take two excellent chances was the downfall as we lost by the odd goal for the 7t
