Valencia For £7 million You Are Having a Laugh

Wigan Athletic have reportedly been approached by at least two Premier League clubs with a view to selling Antonio Valencia in the January transfer window, the fee, a laughable £7 million.

Not surprisingly Latics boss Steve Bruce has refuted all bids stating that Valencia is worth at least double what has been mentioned and Bruce rates the Ecuadorian superstar highly enough to want to build a team around him, Bruce told reporters:

'When Antonio is on form, he's a real handful for any defence. You know how highly I rate him'

'He had a fantastic game against Blackburn - he's quick, powerful and has a goal in him too, which is good.

'I've said it a few times, that if David Bentley cost £15million, then how much is Antonio worth?

'I don't want to put valuations on anybody, and the last thing I want to do is sell people.

'We're on the verge of building a really good team and I don't want to dismantle that. We've got power, pace and energy throughout.'

he's worth 15 mil at least , and we shouldn't think about selling him in jan no matter how much money we get
zamalkawy-wiganawy
to my mind, he is better than Bentley and worth much more than this price
zaki1140
he is the only player in the club I wouldn't sell at any price. He is simply irreplaceable
