Real Madrid To Bid For Valencia?

Real Madrid To Bid For Valencia?

It is being widely reported that Real Madrid are going to make a 14m bid for Luis Valencia.

Valencia has been fantastic since he was brought permanently and is notable for some fantastic goals - this might give some of our rivals some serious food for thought.

For me, I think if Real Madrid could up their offer, then it would be worth considering, but 14m in itself should not just be sniffed at and I'm sure it'll give Bruce something to chew on but knowing Bruce, he'll rightly hold out for more.

Bruce doesn't want his stars to go so I think Bruce will say no unless the offer is really head turning but the fact that clubs such as Real Madrid are making such offers just shows how far Wigan have really come and are turning themselves into a premier league force.

What do you think of Real Madrid's interest in Luis Valencia?

Real Madrid aren't going to pay £14 million for someone to warm their bench.

If a big club bids, let him go. He's an absolute class player and deserves to be at a bigger better more recognised club.

David Perkins has scored a goal for Wigan Athletic. Not the usual introduction to a match report, but some things deserve that extra limelight. Anyway, Wigan came from 1-0 behind at Blackpool to win 1
