Lawro Predicts - Latics Vs Newcastle
Ex-Liverpool player and BBC football pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of forecasting for the Beeb and he sees the Wigan Athletic Vs Newcastle United game at the JJB ending in a draw, this is what he says:
Wigan will be as tough and physical as always and bar the defeat at Arsenal two weeks ago, have been on a good run.
Newcastle have slowly been turned around by boss Joe Kinnear. They have only lost two in 12 under him and they are starting to get players back to fitness - even Mark Viduka has been spotted.
Verdict: 1-1
Talking his usual well meant rubbish Lawro takes the safe option of a draw, when does he ever predict anything else for the JJB?
Any way I totally disagree, the Latics are playing some great stuff at the moment, Newcastle are bobbins and Joe Kinnear is a barmpot, so 3-1 home win
