Wigan Athletic - Paul Scharners Yuletide Wish

Wigan Athletic defender Paul Scharner is delighted with the progress the Latics have made and he is full of joy at the prospect of his club being an established top half side

Speaking on the clubs official website the mad cap Austrian said he was looking forward to and hoping for the current form to be carried through to the New Year, he said:

"A beautiful finish for the old year; we are established now in the top half of the table.

"It will be difficult in January with the fixtures coming up but we are on a good run and I believe in our strengths and we can go on and pick up some good points"
