Real Madrid Want Valencia on Loan

Reports coming out of Spain suggest that Real Madrid now want to take Wigan Athletic midfield man Antonio Valencia on loan for the rest of the season rather than pay the transfer fee being asked by the Latics.

Apparently Real Madrid have been quoted close to £20 million if they want to prise the young Ecuador international away from the JJB and Madrid based daily newspaper AS is saying that the Spanish giants want to save their cash for a big summer transfer after already spending close on £40 million on Lassana Diarrà and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

This could be good news because there is no way that the Latics would agree to a loan deal for Valencia, we don`t need the money, the player has got 2 ½ years left on his contract and without doubt he is the most creative player at the club

Tell them to stick it Dave
