Zaki to miss cup clash

Zaki to miss cup clash

Zaki's official website AmrZaky.com is reporting that Amr will miss the trip to Spurs.

This follows a scan on his knee, following a heavy challenge during the Bolton match which resulted in him having to undergo extensive on the field treatment.

If confirmed this will cause a major headache for Steve Bruce leaving him with want away Henri Camara as his only recognised striker.

The only other game this season when Bruce has been without both his recognised first choice strikers was Newcastle away, when Kapo partnered Camara up front.

Kapo has failed to make the bench in the last few games, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that he has already relocated to France ahead of a transfer window move.

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
