Wigan Athletic Post 10.8m Loss

Wigan Athletic have announced a 10.8 million loss for the year ending 31/5/2005, up from 5.3 million the year before.

The details of the last financial year have been sent out to shareholders ahead of the club's AGM which will be held on the 24th of April at the JJB Stadium. Your Vital Football reporter will be there to bring you any news.

Other points of note are:-

Wage bill up from 5.3 to 8.3m
Staff up from 39 to 50
Turnover static at 4m
Total debt up to 37.5m
Shirt Sponsorship from JJB brought in 150,000
Police bill of 350,000 is going to arbitration.
