Wigan Athletic - Geoff Horsfield Returns


Former Wigan Athletic player Geoff Horsfield has signed a six month contract at League Two side Lincoln City having completed treatment for testicular cancer.

The 35 year old is delighted to back in football and cant wait to get playing again, he told reporters:

'The last few months have been traumatic for me and my family I am just pleased to get back into football and training.

'I am looking to get into coaching and the gaffer has asked me to take the reserves.'
