Lee Mc Culloch to be sold by Rangers?

Lee is a folk hero here at Wigan, having played an instrumental part in our rise to the Premier League.

Recently he has been reduced to a supporting role at Rangers and when he has been invovled, has been moved from his left side midfield role, to a central defensive role.

In 18 months at Rangers he has played 27 times scoring 3 times.

Whether Bruce would want to bring Lee Mc back to Wigan remains to be seen however.

Honestly? He had a good 3-4 month spell when he first came here, scored some crackers and got a good few assists, got injured in january, came back, and has done nothing since. Walter knocks back a £2M bid from stoke in pre season and tries anything to keep him in the team, tries him in central mid in Barry's absence and then Central Defence in Bougherras absence, all the Rangers fans just want to see him go. Whilst there appears to be no interest in Mcculloch, if there was, I doubt walter would sell one of his "favourites".

Rangers are allowing him to go on a free transfer midseason as well. He is 30 and has hardly played any footy for 12mths, would take a few games to get back into the swing of things especially EPL speed these days and the way we are playing I think he would be a backwards step.

if he's on a free snap him up, although they do say it's never wise to go back!

Take him - Please, no disrespect to the big man, he tried but just couldbn't cut it. All the best Lee, once a Ger always a Ger. Gers for the Treble !
