Wigan Athletic - Mido to Latics Back On?

Wigan Athletic are once again being linked with Middlesbrough and Egypt forward Mido with one Egyptian web site actually claiming that he has signed for the Latics for £3 million following Boro`s win over Barrow in the Cup yesterday.

Now with Hugo Rodallega signed up, for there to be any truth in this there must be at least one player moving out and that player would more than likely be Heskey for a similar fee to that speculated for Mido.

Now all this is pure speculation and there is no confirmation whatsoever from any source but Steve Bruce is a massive admirer of Mido and he was desperate to land him in the summer and a January move has been mooted ever since.

The coming few days and weeks will undoubtedly see the Latics linked with all and sundry and it is quite exciting to imagine these new players donning their kit and turning out at the JJB, if there is any truth you`ll here it here first

If Bruce wants to hold onto Zaki then getting Mido surely would help his cause, not saying it will mean Zaki will stay but it would do more good than harm thats for sure

Mido would be a good signing. He does get goals and that's all important.

1- i think bruce is going for mido coz hes the only affordable option 2- mido has tremendous-huge-massive injury problems!!!..seriously the guy isnt playing regularly since 2005/2006 season coz of continous injury problems!!!... 3- i am a mido fan since he was 17 and was playing at Gent (belgium) and i think it would be a shame that he's price is 3 million now!!! (went to marseille from ajax for 12 mil euros!!!)

Latics v QPR - Big Game Preview

An important game at the DW Stadium tomorrow for the Latics, Gary Caldwell will be hoping to banish the disappointment of conceding a 93 minute goal away at Forest last Saturday that saw a point slip away after coming from behind three times in the game.

QPR are in town, they aren't quite the multi-millionaires that they were the last time that we met, that was in the play off semi-final in 2014, but they do have a squad with lots of quality and will certainly pose a threat.
