Ipswich Size up Latics Legend McCulloch

Former Wigan Athletic player Lee McCulloch is being lined up as a possible signing for Championship club Ipswich Town according to our friends over at Vital Ipswich.

McCulloch was a Latics legend during his time at the JJB and he was part of the team that travelled from League 2 all the way to the Premier League playing 244 games and scoring 44 goals

Super Lee left Latics in July 2007 to join his boyhood favourites Rangers for a reputed £2.5 million and scored on his debut but he has found his appearances for the Ibrox club limited this season.

Vital Ipswich say:

" Ipswich could sign Rangers left-midfielder Lee McCulloch on a free transfer this January after making only five appearances for the Ibrox club this season.

"The Blues are looking to add a left-midfielder to their ranks this January after Darren Ambrose's loan spell from Charlton was not made permanent."
