El Hadji Diouf Claims Latics Interest

El Hadji Diouf Claims Latics Interest

Sunderland and Senegal striker El Hadji Diouf is reportedly interesting Wigan Athletic manager about a possible move to the JJB

Diouf only signed for the North East side in summer and it appears that he wants to get out of Sunderland now that Roy Keane has left the club.

Diouf told Sky Sports that both Steve Bruce and new Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce have been in touch about joining either the Latics or the Rovers, Diouf said:

'Sam Allardyce (Blackburn) wants me to join him and Wigan's manager (Steve Bruce) has called me as well'

'I am not allowed to make two transfers during the same season but can leave if the clubs agree.

'I signed a four-year contract with Sunderland and don't want to leave on bad terms. I hope they will find a solution.'

No thanks, Diouf is one player that yours truly doesnt want to see at the JJB

I'd rather see a rabid dog in a latic shirt than this 'gentleman' Hopefully Steve Bruce's call was a Russell Brand prank.
